Trump predicts 'Brexit plus plus plus'

He enigmatically called himself Mr. Brexit and now, faithful to his style, Donald Trump is predicting an oversized, "Brexit-style" result to the U.S. elections.

Speaking in Pennsylvania just two days before the presidential elections, Trump again tried to make a comparison to the surprising results of British referendum on European Union membership:

"Real change also means restoring honesty to government. We'll start by getting rid of Clinton, all right," he said. "We are going to deliver justice the way justice used to be in this country."

"At the ballot box, on November 8, we are going to do something so special."

"It will be called Brexit plus, plus, plus," he said.

During his presidential campaign, Trump has repeatedly compared his movement to the one that mobilised Britain to take the UK out of the EU in June's referendum, defying all odds.

“Beyond Brexit” “Brexit plus!” “Brexit times ten!” are just some of the slogans he used.

It all started with a cryptic tweet in August, when Trump called himself Mr. Brexit, leaving many people puzzled:

In the wake of the referendum, Trump was famously shut down by Lily Allen and others for saying Scotland "is going wild over the vote."

Scotland actually voted for the UK to *remain* in the EU.
