As 2017 beckons, we're making room for the new -- and very exciting -- trends that will define the coming year.

From distressed denim and slip dresses to fruit as a meat replacement, Pinterest is already predicting the biggest fashion, food and home trends of 2017 based on current search data.

Here's what's in store for us trend-wise for the coming year.

FASHION

1. The bell sleeve
