The Cubs have done it.

It's been a long 108 years since the Chicago team won a World Series title, but on Wednesday night the determined Cubs made their highly anticipated comeback.

After fans stopped crying over the fact that their beloved Cubs won the freaking 2016 World Series, they decided to reflect upon just how much has changed since the last time the team won in 1908.

Think about it: 108 years ago Netflix wasn't around, women didn't have the right to vote and die-hard Cubs fan Bill Murray wasn't even alive.

Twitter users reminded us that the world was a lot different back then by cracking some A+ jokes.

Let's review:

Obviously, Neil deGrasse Tyson felt the need to remind everyone that the last time the Cubs won the World Series, Pluto wasn't even a thing.

Users went on to further embarrass the Cubs by recalling more very important things that didn't exist 108 years ago, such as...uhh, a woman's right to vote and beer in cans.

We were also reminded that despite the fact that this election feels as though it has been going on for at least a century, the last time the Cubs won the World Series the world was not concerned with Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

It's a lot to digest, but as Brian Baumgartner (aka Kevin from The Office) so eloquently acknowledged, there is beauty in a long journey.
