Heather Heyer's mom refuses to talk to President Trump after his press conference

Turns out the mother of Heather Heyer, the 32-year-old who was killed after a man crashed his car into a crowd of counter-protesters at the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, isn't as big of a Trump fan as he made her out to be.

In an interview with ABC News on Friday morning, Heyer's mom, Susan Bro, condemned Trump's behavior following her daughter's death and said she refuses to speak to the president directly after his actions.

In the interview, when asked if she had spoken with the president, Bro replied, "I have not and now I will not."

Bro also revealed the first time Donald Trump made an attempt to reach out to her directly was right in the middle of her daughter's funeral on Wednesday.

"At first, I just missed his calls. The first call actually came during the funeral. I didn't even see that message. There were three more frantic messages from press secretaries throughout the day, and I didn't know why," says Bro.

Bro said she spent the night recovering from the funeral and simply hadn't gotten a chance to return the calls, but after seeing Trump's press conference comments — including his equation of the counter-protestors like her daughter with the KKK and white supremacists — she said to herself, "I'm not talking to the president now, I'm sorry."

Though Bro had thanked Trump on Monday for denouncing violence, after hearing the president speak at his Tuesday press conference she admittedly had a change of heart.

"You can't wash this one away by shaking my hand and saying 'I'm sorry," she said. "I'm not forgiving for that."

At Heyer's memorial service on Wednesday, Bro addressed the 1,200 people that gathered to mourn her daughter's loss, saying, "They tried to kill my child to shut her up, but guess what, you just magnified her."

When asked if Bro had anything to say to Trump, she simply replied, "Think before you speak."
