Roommates prank friend by turning their bedroom into a bad museum from the future

When Ellen Huet's roommates went on vacation, she pulled out her laminator and went to work.

Everyday objects haphazardly thrown around the room became exhibits in an error-filled museum from the future. Her housemates, Tony Lai and Nihar Madhavan wrote descriptions for each ancient relic.

A jar of change was, according to Huet's anthropological studies, a shrine for the "religion known as Capitalism."

The description by Lai and Madhavan claims that if ancient humans didn't leave daily offerings, they'd go to "Bankruptcy."

An otherwise innocuous curling iron, according to Huet's sources, was a sex toy used for "optimizing eugonadal elevation." It even has a clamp for the "somewhat titillating practice" of crimping!

A lonely winter mitten, was obviously a condom. "Humans would sew condoms to use before mating," Lai and Madhaven wrote.

And it seems like Huet got really into using her laminator.

According to studies, humans of our era had no long term memory and were foriced to use label makers for everything -- including the back of a door.

Her fake museum inspired people to come up with their own "early human" exhibits.

And some had some suggestions for more descriptions.
