A Twitter user's list of Bible verses took an unexpected turn when it became a meme.

It all started when Twitter user @brianab1188 tweeted a list of Bible verses for troubling moods, from feeling lonely to needing direction.

With over 243,000 likes and 121,000 comments, it's clear that her list of verses resonated with thousands of people.

Since it went viral though, @brianab1188's had a different impact than she probably expected. People started tweeting their list of songs to listen to in times of anxiety and stress -- who wouldn't want to listen to "Come On Eileen" when they need courage?

Or the 2003 banger "Hey Ya!" when they're depressed?

If there's anything to take away from the memes taking over Twitter the last few months, it's that "Mr. Brightside" is relevant in all situations. @Idrinkh20 followed up their tweet with, "This isn’t even a meme this is just true. The full spectrum of human emotion is captured in Mr Brightside by The Killers."

You could say the same thing about Britney Spears' "Toxic."

Some people had specific song suggestions for certain moods -- what's more comforting than the SpongeBob SquarePantssoundtrack?

There's nothing like Hannah Montana's "Hoedown Throwdown" to lift spirits.

Even the Jonas Brothers' fandom pulled through with jams like "Year 3000" and "Burnin' Up," because cheering up is a little more fun with the help of heartthrobs Joe, Kevin, and Nick.

Instead of songs, pianist James Rhodes suggested a cup of tea for literally every personal struggle.

While teacher Katie Rogers suggested every beauty guru's secret pick-me-up: Mario Badescu rosewater. The refreshing spray may not solve your problems, but at least it feels nice.

@kobychill suggested the advice of the great Kendrick Lamar: drank.

But @itsqail had the best advice -- just go to McDonald's.

Bible verses may provide words of wisdom in trying times, but do they really fulfill you the way chicken nuggets do?
