Everyone's favorite goat farm is posting a soothing video every day

Sunflower Farm Creamery has long been the premier YouTube destination for people who love goats wearing sweaters (which should be everyone). Now, as the internet grows increasingly panicked about coronavirus, the farm is providing a small oasis of calm with a pleasant daily goat video.

"What strange times we are in. My heart is with you all as we sort through this new normal for a while," wrote farm owner Hope Hall alongside the first video. "There is so little I can do to help all of you out there with the very real problems which are arising with this unprecedented situation, but I can share with you the one thing that makes me feel a lot better — time with the goats!"

Each video focuses on a different part of life with the goats and ends with a quiet closing section that's meant to be used for meditation. The first video's silent final minute, for example, features two orange cats perching on a fence as snow falls gently around them — an extremely soothing sight.

In the comments section, viewers respond to daily questions — Thursday's video asked fans to discuss books, poems, and songs that keep them grounded in trying times — and discuss how they're feeling in self-isolation.

"I can feel the sunshine and smell the sweet hay. You can even hear the goats breathing and it almost sounds like purring," wrote one commenter. "Hope everyone is doing well. Hang in there, everybody."

These "Love Notes from the Goats" started going up on Tuesday, so only three videos are available so far. Eventually, though, there will be 30: The series also serves as a countdown to the birth of the year's first kids. (Yes, that means this year's Running of the Goats is imminent.)

And if a video a day isn't enough, you can also watch the goats on the farm's 24-hour live barn cam.
