One brave man is trying to restore humanity's faith in clowns     DATE: 2024-06-16 12:24:27

Not all clowns are bad.

Since mysterious clowns have been popping up, terrorizing the United States and other parts of the world since August, the formerly comic figures have grown to represent a symbol of fear.

Sure their colorful wigs, red noses and eccentric face makeup can be a bit overwhelming, but in this tough time we must remember that before the clown-pocalypse many good clowns used to spread joy and positive entertainment throughout the world.

Since coulrophobia (fear of clowns) is at an all-time high, people are making an effort to restore our faith in the clown community by sharing positive images of "real clowns."

It appears that Facebook user Ron Anglin shared several images and started the hashtag #Realclownsareaboutlove on Wednesday night to "counter all the horrible images out there."

Through this sincere effort to celebrate professional and amateur clowns who have pure intentions and the desire to spread joy, Anglin's hashtag inspired others to share personal anecdotes about "real clowns."

Keep spreading the positivity, people. The world needs good clowns now more than ever.
