After eight years of Barack and Michelle Obama serving as America’s warm, hip and understanding parents, the moment has finally arrived -- the Trump takeover.

While there's no doubt we'll miss President Obama forgetting his phone, telling dad jokes and passionately singing at every chance he gets, this inauguration day will require an extra box of tissues because we also have to say farewell to the coolest first lady of all time -- Michelle Obama.

From the moment we saw Michelle give her husband a congratulatory fist bump after he clinched the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008, we knew we were in for a treat.

With her passion for education, exercise initiatives, sick dance moves and epic rap skills, FLOTUS has raised the bar for women both in and out of the White House.

Here's a look back at a few of the most spectacular moments she's gifted us over the years, in no particular order.

1. That time she went shopping at CVS with Ellen

Shopping has never looked so fun.

Ellen recently took Michelle to CVS Pharmacy to pick up a few necessities and teach her how to survive in the real world once she leaves the White House.

While the two perused magazines, bought Sasha Obama some headphones and attempted to give CVS employees back scratches, we were all busy wishing we were lucky enough to score an invite.

Here's hoping we'll run into the Obama's at our nearby CVS in 2017.

2. Her Tuskegee University commencement address

Obama delivered the commencement speech at Alabama's Tuskegee University, a historically black college, in 2015.

Rather than simply touch upon the power of education, FLOTUS highlighted the challenges and discrimination the black community has faced and overcome throughout the years, herself and her husband included.

Obama got real about the "many sleepless nights" she's endured as a result of the racist actions of others, and as she has done so many times before, spoke to remind black people in America of their immense worth.

3. Her mom dancing

Michelle came, she danced, she conquered. She danced her way into the White House alongside Barack and Beyoncé and hasn't stopped showing off her smooth moves since.

From boogieing with Storm Troopers to mom dancing with Jimmy Fallon and taking the stage with the stars of So You Think You Can Dance,Michelle wasn't afraid to bust a move and encourage others to do the same.

And while the world may have grown weary of Michelle's favorite 2014 jam -- Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' "Uptown Funk" -- we will never grow tired of watching her dance to it.

4. Whenever she promoted healthy eating in a fun way

Has a turnip ever looked more appealing to anyone? No.

From her clever "Turnip for What" Vine to singing with the Muppets and grocery shopping with Billy Eichner and Big Bird on Funny or Die's "Billy on the Street," no effort to show children the benefits of healthy eating was too silly for Michelle Obama.

Also, TBT to that time she competed with Jimmy Fallon in the Let's Move Fitness Challenge.

5. Her Mannequin Challenge with LeBron James and the Cavs

FLOTUS balls so hard that she had no problem enlisting the help of the 2016 NBA Champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers, to create one of the most praise-worthy Mannequin Challenges ever. Too 👏 cool 👏 for 👏 words.

6. Her inspirational speech at the DNC

When they go low, Michelle Obama has always gone high. As her time as first lady neared its end, she and her husband put their best efforts forward to assist Hillary Clinton in her own presidential campaign.

At the Democratic National Convention, FLOTUS's legendary New Hampshire speech moved Americans, lifting them up during a grim and sensitive time.

Obama spoke shortly after the Washington Postreleased a video from 2005 showing Trump and Todayshow co-host Billy Bush talking about women with extremely lewd language.

Though Trump's misogynistic comments towards women had been a topic of discussion throughout the campaign, FLOTUS addressed his most recent offense to the world, explaining, "it has been a week of profound contrast" and assuring the nation, "the measure of any society is how it treats its women and girls."

This speech embodies Obama's strength and ideals, and will undoubtedly go down in history.

7. Any time she wore an outfit, ever

First lady and fashion icon? Does it get any better?

FLOTUS absolutely slayed the fashion game every chance she got, from the inaugural balls to state dinners and holidays, Obama turned heads whether she was wearing Versace or sequin-covered Converse.

8. When she destroyed Trump with a simple tap of her microphone

No one has quite mastered the art of taking down Donald Trump like Michelle Obama. During her epic campaign efforts on behalf of Hillary Clinton and without even mentioning Trump by name, Obama managed to address his debate complaints of a "faulty microphone."

"When she gets knocked down, she doesn't complain, she doesn't cry foul," Obama said about Clinton, before tapping her microphone to signal a reference to Trump.

Bow down to the queen.

9. When she dominated Carpool Karaoke

James Corden's White House tour ended in the best possible way: with Michelle Obama belting out Stevie Wonder and Beyoncé songs. The only way the commute could get any cooler is if Missy Elliott herself dropped by to sing "This Is For My Girls" -- oh wait ...

10. When she guest-starred on some of our favorite TV shows

As a leading political figure in the world, Michelle Obama didn't limit herself to press conferences and the occasional talk show like many before her have done.

Instead, she took her love of pop culture and graced our television screens with guest appearances on everything from the Season 6 finale of Parks and Recto an episode of Nashville(sort of). In addition to NCIS, the first lady has appeared in many children's shows as well, such as Disney’s Jessie, Sesame Street and iCarly.

11. That time she created a Snapchat account and met Rory Gilmore

In an effort to promote her "Let Girls Learn" initiative, Obama got hip with the kids and created a Snapchat account. Just let that sink in.... our first lady created a Snapchat account, which she then used to announce she would be appearing on James Corden's Carpool Karaoke, and THEN (in case that wasn't cool enough,) used the platform to document a casual hang out with Rory from Gilmore Girls.

Yep, Alexis Bledel made all of our dreams come true by visiting the White House and bringing FLOTUS a bunch of books and Pop-Tarts on camera. What a time to be alive.

Thanks for the memories, Michelle. We'll miss you.
